Ms. Pearson-Wise graduated from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude with honors in English and from Emory University School of Law. After serving as a judicial clerk in New Jersey, she was an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, PA and Austin, TX before moving to Florida. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Lori Pearson-Wise has focused her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims since 1989. She has been a certified instructor for the Florida Department of Insurance since 1998, and lectures frequently on matters related to workers’ compensation litigation, mediation and ethics issues. Previously, Ms. Pearson-Wise was a certified Florida Supreme Court Circuit/County and Family mediator. She was appointed by Lawton Chiles to the Governor’s Task Force for workers’ compensation, and was a member of the Mayor’s Task Force on Education in Orlando. Ms. Pearson-Wise is also a past member of the Workers’ Compensation Judicial Rules Committee, and a past president of the Workers’ Compensation section of the Orange County Bar. She also volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem in Orange County. Ms. Pearson-Wise is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell where she is included in Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers, and is recognized as an Orlando Top Lawyer by Orlando Life and named a Top Lawyer in Central Florida by Orlando Home and Leisure.
